Popular Nollywood actress and super diva, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, had some issues with policemen from the Osun State police command at around 4.30pm in Oshogbo today. She and her driver were arrested at Olaiya junction for allegedly displaying a police cap on her car's dashboard which attracted their attention. Other sources had it that she was stopped and ordered to step out of her car so the vehicle could be searched.
Angry Mercy was seen making calls with her phone which was later siezed according to vanguard. The policemen fired several gunshots in the air to reduce the number of crowds and whisked Mercy and her driver away in a police van. An Assistant Police Public Relations Officer, Ajibade Egbedele, said, it was just a minor traffic issue and that the matter has been settled.
